The Lady Lever Gallery is regarded as being of "London" standard, which means it is very, very good. To describe this place using as few words as possible, it could be described as "A miniature V & A". The gallery contents were amassed by Lord Leverhulme, the soap entrepreneur of Lever Brothers. With free entry, free parking and a location in the wonderful Port Sunlight village, you really have no excuse for not going here!
Interesting place with a good collection. Not too large so not daunting.Lots of free activities for children scheduled. Easy parking next to the gallery.

We had a superb party at the Royal Mersey Yacht club on Saturday. It was a fancy dress birthday party. We had Barwise caterers provide the food which was excellent! Our friends and family all agreed that the venue was really fantastic for such an event and the Live band - Rigsby's Cat provided fabulous music and entertainment. The club provided a good bar with excellent choice of beer, wine and spirits. The staff were all very helpful and aided the smooth running of the evening. Well done The Royal Mersey Yacht Club!!!
Great venue for parties, formal.or.informal. staff very helpful. The gin and tonics are particularly good!

Beautiful place. I bit under maintained. A decent amount of wild life. Saw a Kestrels fly around. Lots of berry.
Spent a good couple of hours here quite easily. I was amazed how well established it looks after such a relatively short existence, lots of birds around and from the noise coming from the reed bed the lake is host to lots of bird life too. As well as the wildlife there were great views across the Mersey in one direction and Wirral the other, the Welsh hills were also visible in the distance. There were plenty of benches around but not many litter bins. I will definitely visit again soon.

Very nice to walk on the different trails (although It has a rather 'industrial' aspect about it !) There is a very nice lake that takes on an Egyptian theme, with the copious, landscaped, bulrush presence, that attracts all sorts of avarian life. It's right close to the River Mersey banks & offers some fantastic views 'over the water ' So don't forget to bring your binoculars ;-)
Lovely views over to liverpool. Great for the dog
